Learn more about four extraordinary Maryland women who fought for suffrage before and after the passing of the 19th amendment. Local historical experts will discuss the lives and work of Frances Ellen Watkins Harper, Mary Church Terrell, Augusta Chissell, and Margaret Gregory Hawkins. This event is co-sponsored by the Maryland Women's Heritage Center.
