Event Details

Join us to learn about the Battle of the Books Competition for Middle School students. This event is open to all students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades - including homeschoolers.

Registration is available from October 7, 2025 through January 6, 2026. The team coach should submit one registration form for the team. Register by scanning the QR code on the flyer or brochure, calling your local library, or contacting your school librarian.

Students join teams and answer questions about the content of books on pre-selected lists. Participate in a book based competition to practice teamwork and sportsmanship while getting excited about reading! This informational session will review: timeline, expectations, and book lists, as well as answering any questions from students and parents.

You can find the Battle of the Books flyer, brochure, and reading list below under "Attachments" - everything you need to get started!
