This July, our Chautauqua living history series goes virtual as Maryland Humanities raises the voices of four notable women who took action to secure their right to vote.
Join us as Joanna Guy and Liz Cannon bring Alice Paul (1885–1977), leader of the 20th century women’s suffrage movement and writer of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), to life.
1:00 PM: Performance
2:00 PM: Q&A with Joanna Guy, Liz Cannon, and Maryland Humanities Staff
The performance is free. It will be available starting July 13 and must be removed after July 19. Please register in advance at the tickets link: you'll be entered to win fun prizes!
