Interested in joining a book club, but not totally down with the idea of being told what to read? The Silent Book Club of Oakland, brought to you in partnership with the Friends of the Ruth Enlow Library, is definitely what the doctor ordered!

Occurring on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Grantsville branch, representatives from the Garrett County Department of Social Services will be in the library to serve the community through their assistance outreach program. 

Occurring on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Kitzmiller branch, representatives from the Garrett County Department of Social Services will be in the library to serve the community through their assistance outreach program.

Join us for our newest book club, "Guys Readin' Stuff" - just a group of dudes who like books! Adults and teens welcome. Meet cool folks, share the stuff you like. Get ideas on what to read next and help other guys get into books.

The Board of Library Trustees meets once a month, on the second Thursday at 4:00 pm.
