Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a gardening lab with Ashley Bachtel-Bodkins from the University of Maryland Extension, Master Gardeners! Winter sowing is a low cost way of starting seeds without any special equipment. You can start any type of seed-- flowers, vegetables, herbs--- with this method and all you need is a milk jug or similar container. Bring your own clean milk or water jug per person if you can! Seeds and soil will be provided!

Note: Younger children will need an adult to help them. This is a drop in, so you can come anytime during the hour.

To register for this event, please contact Maya at maya@relib.net or the Accident Library at 301-746-8792.
