Do you know someone with dementia? Join us as Bevian Hensley from GC Community Action presents Dementia Live. Dementia Live is an experiential, evidence informed training program developed and licensed by AGE-u-cate Training Institute that immerses participants into the world of dementia. Using specialized gear and environmental modifications, participants gain a first-hand experience of the physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges faced by those living with dementia. The program aims to foster empathy, enhance communication, and improve support strategies among caregivers, healthcare professionals, and the community to elevate quality of life and sense of self for person living with dementia.
