A beginner food gardening series for adults that want to garden on a budget! Each session will highlight practical, low-cost tips for building, planning, planting, maintaining, and celebrating the harvest of a successful vegetable garden.

Occurring on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Grantsville branch, representatives from the Garrett County Department of Social Services will be in the library to serve the community through their assistance outreach program. 

Join us as we learn about perennial food crops like asparagus, rhubarb, and horseradish.  This program will be held at the Grantsville Libary and is open to all ages.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Come to the library for an hour of free building based on a new theme each month. Completed builds may be displayed in the library for others to enjoy. This program is designed for ages 4 and up. 

Registration is not required.
