The Board of Library Trustees meets once a month, on the second Thursday at 4:00.

Do you love pizza? Join us to learn how to grow everything you need to make your own pizza sauce/toppings! You’ll get to plant a selection of herbs/plants or seeds in your very own grow bag to create your own “pizza garden”.

Occurring on the 2nd Friday of the month at the Accident branch, representatives from the Garrett County Department of Social Services will be in the library to serve the community through their assistance outreach program. 

Join fellow puzzle lovers for an afternoon of puzzles and light refreshments!

Accident Library invites you to join our needlework sewing circle!  We meet every Saturday morning at 9:30 AM. 

Join us for Children's Story Time on Monday mornings beginning at 11 am for an hour of stories, crafts, and activities designed to foster a love of reading in young children ages 2 and up. 

Our adult book club group in Kitzmiller meets on the second Monday of each month from 6:00-7:00 pm. Please join us for a great discussion on this months book club selection. Newcomers are always welcome to attend.

Join us as we learn about weed free vegetable gardening. This program will be held at the Oakland Library and is open to all ages. We look forward to seeing you there!

Create your own world.  Join the Creative Writers Group presented by the Grantsville Library every second Monday of the month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Welcome to Story Time @ the Library! This program runs September-May and is geared for children ages 3-5. Join us every Tuesday at 10:30 am as we look, listen, sing, and play while learning through stories, crafts, and other fun activities.

Join us for a story time designed especially for babies and toddlers.  This program stimulates children’s language development and social skills through stories, music, rhymes, and other activities.

Please join us on Tuesday mornings beginning at 11:30 AM for stories and songs designed to foster a love of reading for pre-school children. 

STEAM Kids programs are happening here at the Friendsville Library! Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 4:00-5:00pm, as we engage in exciting hands-on activities based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math!

Join us for a story time designed for children ages 3 and up. This program promotes creative expression, social skills, listening comprehension, and school readiness through stories, STEM activities, games, music and crafts.

Join us as we learn about vegetable gardening on a budget.  This program will be held at the Grantsville Library and is open to all ages.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome to LEGO Club @ the Library! LEGO Club runs September-May and meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 4:30-5:30 pm. A monthly building theme will be suggested or builders may choose to free-build.

The Friends of the Ruth Enlow Library is a group organized to bring together fellow citizens who value their public library.

Bring your own needlework projects to work on with fellow crafters!

Please join us to play Mah-Jongg at the Ruth Enlow Library in Grantsville, MD on Thursdays from 1-4pm. Meet new friends and exercise your brain! If you don't know how to play, we'll teach you!

Love Pokemon? Come by to show off your cards or bring a deck to play the card game with others. We also are a POGO stop! There will be other small activities and a few snacks as well. 

Learn about the Spotted Lanternfly with Karen Wood from the University of Maryland Extension. Kids will hear all about this interesting insect and make their own using 3D pens!
