The Board of Library Trustees meets once a month, on the second Thursday at 4:00 pm.

Occurring on the 2nd Friday of the month at the Accident branch, representatives from the Garrett County Department of Social Services will be in the library to serve the community through their assistance outreach program.

Accident Library invites you to join our needlework sewing circle!  We meet every Saturday morning at 9:30 AM. 

Join us for a brand-new book club we're bringing you in partnership with the Green Room, Oakland. The Silent Book Club will occur on the third Sunday of every month at the Green Room, 1 - 3 pm.

Welcome to Story Time @ the Library! This program is geared for children ages 3-5. Join us as we look, listen, sing, and play while learning through stories, crafts, and other fun activities.

Join us for a story time designed especially for babies and toddlers.  This program stimulates children’s language development and social skills through stories, music, rhymes, and other activities.

Please join us on Tuesday mornings beginning at 11:30 AM for stories and songs designed to foster a love of reading for pre-school children. 

Occurring on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Grantsville branch, representatives from the Garrett County Department of Social Services will be in the library to serve the community through their assistance outreach program. 

The Garrett County Department of Health is hosting a Mobile Health Insurance Clinic for in-person assistance with Maryland Health Connection every third Tuesday of the month from 1:30-4:30.

Young Readers' Book Club is a book discussion group for children in grades 6 and up. Programs are held on the third Tuesday of every month September through November and January through May.

Join us for a story time designed for children ages 3 and up. This program promotes creative expression, social skills, listening comprehension, and school readiness through stories, STEM activities, games, music and crafts.

Occurring on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Kitzmiller branch, representatives from the Garrett County Department of Social Services will be in the library to serve the community through their assistance outreach program.

Bring your own needlework projects to work on with fellow crafters!

Please join us to play Mah-Jongg at the Ruth Enlow Library in Grantsville, MD on Thursdays from 1-4pm. Meet new friends and exercise your brain! If you don't know how to play, we'll teach you!

Come to the library for an hour of free building based on a new theme each month. Completed builds may be displayed in the library for others to enjoy. This program is designed for ages 4 and up. 

Registration is not required.

Lego Club is designed for children ages 4 and up and features free building time with lots of building bricks. Children are encouraged to build a creation based on a new theme each month. Staff may display completed builds in the library.
